Interviewed on Feb 9th. Wait listed.

Did you receive an official email or the information was updated to be waitlisted. For me, no mail, and the portal still shows "under reviewing".

Anyway, wait listed still means possibility, wish you all the best.

I received an email from the Director of Admissions about the Waitlisting. For some reason the email was signed/dated 8th March.

I'm happy that I found this thread. I gave my interview on 23rd feb, and havent heard back from the Adcom yet. (Indian Male 29 Y, Construction Background)

Looking at the trend:
1st March - Admit decisions
3rd March - Waitlists

I just hope that there a few more admits left for this round and that they dont send out rejection letters yet.

If there aren't anymore admits left we all would have been put on waitlist for sure on 3rd March. we will know for sure on 8th.

Nihar7 , looks like you are observing the admissions trend very closely. Just wanted to know if there was a similar trend in R1?

I have only started looking looking closely after what my interviewer said about the process. She basically confirmed my profile will not be looked at in first week March, which was true. Round 2 is certainly going to be different from earlier rounds as they don't have as much time and only meet once in a week. During first round there were so few active it is hard to gauge. Having said that they did release admissions in batches rather than all at once in Early round. I am sure the yield is not high for MSU so we should have decent chance.

Looks like Broad is your top choice Nihar. What other colleges are you hopeful or got admits?

No Broad is not my first choice. My first choice is Darden, I am hopeful about UVA we will see. I am stressed about Broad because I got into ISB and I have to make a huge deposit by 16th March. I don't feel like turning that down without any admit from US. I am waiting on 3 other schools including UVA after interview.

No, not really I got scores on August 18th. I had bad advice, I was asked to apply everything only in Round 2 and I listened. I made a mistake there.

Yeah understand the ISB deposit is brutal

But we all will hear before March 10.
If it’s not an admit, it will complicate things or force you to pay the deposit

I think we will know by March 8th. There are still a bit more admits to give it is quite apparent, hopefully I am not forced to pay the deposit as it is humongous.

How much u got on the GMAT?

Mar 4 at 03:09am

at least a 720 i guess

to make Darden a feasible choice for Indian male in R2

I wrote both GMAT and GRE. GMAT score is 740 and GRE is 333. I have supply chain experience, that’s the reason I wanted Broad as safety school.

Mar 4 at 03:11am

333 much better than 740

Yeah I usually carefully pick which scores to send to schools after talking to adcom before applying. I used GRE scores for Broad. My profile is a bit different to typical Indian male. All my experience is in Australia, so I figured even though I hold Indian passport for now, I might stand out a bit. Guess we will know in next week.

Mar 4 at 03:20am

U hv good chances of Darden with your profile.
