congrats on the interview!!

Just finished my interview in person with a CBS Alumni. It went quite well overall! Key questions: Why MBA, Working together with groups, Conflict management based on inherent biases, Short & Long Term post MBA goals. The interviewer also focused on CBS questions (which courses, professors, clubs are you keen on specifically - and how will you contribute uniquely to CBS’s class)

Folks uploading on clearwire about being waitlisted or admitted via portal - without calls or email. Is it the application portal or something else? Where do you see your status?

Under "Please contact the admissions office at apply@gsb.columbia.edu with questions regarding your application materials or to submit additional information via email." it says "Status Update: An update to your application was last posted March 9, 2023." and then a link to View Update

Did anyone get admitted to Columbia Full Time MBA August entry with a 153 (or below) Executive Assessment (EA) score?

Thank you for answering, much appreciated!

Did anyone get any sort of notification about merit aid?

Mar 17 at 09:17am

Has anyone received the consortium fellowship for Columbia ? If not, does anyone know when we're expected to hear back on whether we got it or not?

Mar 18 at 05:17am

Anyone with insights into scholarships at CBS, help is required!! The CSS thingy is doing my head in

Mar 18 at 10:38pm

In the application portal, there is a link to fill out the need based financial aid application form, no mention of any scholarship in the letter

I have seen on CA that a few people have. I reached out to admissions & financial aid last week with questions regarding the need-based application and asking about non-consortium merit-based awards (assuming I had not received a Consortium fellowship). They got back to me today saying that fellowship committees for Consortium and other merit fellowships are still meeting, so there’s still a chance of receiving them and that we should hear back by early April.

Hey
Does anyone here have any experience securing a loan through Juno?
They claim to have loans at interest rates almost half that of private financing companies.
Was wondering if anyone has explored this option?

I’m already working with EA applicants- there is a lot we can get done before the app opens in June. Goal is to have everything done but the essays by the time the application opens. I seriously doubt they will change the goals essay and the favorite book/movie essay - might tweak essay 2. Anyways, it’s ideal to apply asap after the app opens because rolling admissions.

Would be nice to have an offer early in the process
