3 months of DHM was anyway part of the plan and the incoming class won’t be at campus till September (current class graduates in August).

Isn’t it high time for ISB to start sending rejects. I mean, just let people off the hook

With many candidates deferring and many people declining the offer, will the competition be tough for the next intake?

May 28, 2021

vamshikaithi, there were around 200 deferral from last year which reduced seats this year. Probably this year was on of the toughest year. Competition is less likely to be this fierce next year.

May 28, 2021

I think there were many deferrals this year as well

I’m just confused whether to accept the offer or decline and reapply next year

May 28, 2021

vamshikaithi, very few deferrals this year compared to last year. My personal opinion is that in terms of absolute quality you are good enough for ISB and hence you got an admit. Rejecting this year will have zero impact on your selection next year. As for getting selected next year there is always an uncertainty associated with it, but your chances are pretty good. Your final decision boils down to the reason you want to reject this year.

Has anyone asked and received feedback from the ISB team for rejecting a candidate ?(in the current cycle)

they’ll start doing it after the cycle is over and the next one starts around mid/end June.

vamshikaithi wrote:I think there were many deferrals this year as well
not as many this year. The admissions would be less competitive than this year but still more than usual.

Do they send feedback to every rejected candidate or we have to ask for feedback on email

no they won’t send feedback. You’ve got to ask in context of reapplying this year.
