Hi,
Guys applying for krannert make sure you have yourr transcripts from university. You have to mail physical copies to Krannert.
You can send them cheap by using Fedex student sevice. At krannert your application will not be considered unless they receive the transcripts. So plan ahead .All the best

Hi Cherukuri, Thanks a lot for the heads up. However the website says that:
"If requested by the graduate program or if you are admitted and choose to enroll at Purdue, you must submit official transcripts and/or academic documents."

Please provide your thoughts on this. Do we still need to mail physical copies for the application to be considered?

I think there is a change in policy this year. Its ok if you send scan copy but make sure you check with ADcom. The below is listed on website
Uploading Transcripts

Beginning with Spring 2016 entry, all applicants must upload to the online application transcript(s) and/or academic document(s) for every institution of higher education attended. If a transcript and diploma/degree certificate is not in English, an English translation (certified by the college or university which issued it) must be uploaded.
The uploaded transcript and/or academic document must be from the official version of the document. An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution.
If personal identifying information such as a student identification number or social security number appear on the document, REMOVE THIS INFORMATION from your electronic version of your document or mark out the information in black ink before scanning your document.
Degree-Seeking Applicants: Upload a transcript for every institution of higher education attended, including evidence of a baccalaureate degree awarded, into the online application. If you are currently studying for a baccalaureate degree, you will later be required to submit a document that verifies the awarding of that degree.
Non-Degree Applicants: If you are applying for non-degree classification, you must upload evidence of a baccalaureate degree which could include a transcript, a copy of the diploma or a degree certificate verifying the degree. If requested by the graduate program, or if you are admitted and choose to enroll, you must submit official transcripts and/or academic documents directly to the Purdue MBA and MS Programs.
All transcripts and/or academic documents uploaded to the online application system are considered unofficial. The Purdue University Graduate School reserves the right to require official transcripts and/or academic documents at any time during the admissions process.

Official Transcripts

You will need to provide official transcripts and/or academic records only at the request of the graduate program or in the event of a favorable admission decision and you choose to enroll. An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution. Official documents should be submitted to:
Office of Graduate Admissions
Purdue University
Young Hall, Room 170
155 S. Grant St.
West Lafayette, IN 47907-2114

Transcripts and/or English translations must be mailed directly from a Registrar’s office to the Office of Graduate Admissions. (You can choose to send the transcripts yourself, but the transcripts must be in an envelope sealed by the Registrar).
The Office of Graduate Admissions also accepts electronic transcripts from accredited U.S. colleges and universities sent via eSCRIP-SAFE, Docufide, Parchment Exchange or directly from the accredited U.S. college and university. The transcript must be sent to GRADADM@purdue.edu
**Transcripts will not be returned.

Purdue offers a lot of GA positions which can cut your tuition costs by over 70%. They give scholarships, but the scholarship amount is generally low.

Hi

I have one question. The priority round deadline is given as "Application Round 2 (Priority Round) is November 16 – January 15" in the krannert website.

So this statement means that we have to apply before January 15 to be considered fro priority round right. Can someone confirm me whether I am right?

well the academic side of your profile seems to be in line with what they are looking for, but that dosen't guarantee anything. I spoke with an admissions officer at a GMAT tour last month who told me about a candidate last year that applied with a 760 GMAT that was denied because his interview skills were so poor.

Honestly Speaking? Verbal score seems a bit low. That being said, they are accustomed to Indian Applicants (assuming you're Indian from Name) scoring high in Mathematics and doing ok in English. You'll have to show that your verbal comprehension is up to par with their standards by scoring well on the TOEFL and the interview. That's my opinion I am in no way an expert on this!
