Got admitted but without a scholarship, looks like only a few people got scholarship

I didn’t get the official email too, but I also missed one call. I had received the welcome letter

Has anyboday got a ding? Why are schools this year not sending out rejects but waitlisting everyone interviewed? Its becoming difficult to compute chances from waitlist

Because their yield rate is very less hence more waitlists and acceptances than rejections. Very high chances of getting in if you’re waitlisted but the catch is you have to make arrangements for loan worth $200k since they don’t offer much in scholarships

As an international who has been waitlisted at multiple schools, all I can say is try to improve the GMAT/gre if you can. If you are not willing to take the test again, keep in touch with the adcom, take the mbamath course. What I have felt is schools don’t care much about the waitlisted candidates and will only release the results in May/June when it’s quite late for us internationals
