Average GMAT is 682. Your score should be in the range of 620-730.

As far as TOEFL is concerned, candidates who have earned or will have completed at least two years of a bachelor’s or master’s degree at an institution in which the language of instruction was solely based in English are eligible for an automatic TOEFL/IELTS/PTE waiver. Additionally, candidates who have or will have worked for at least two years in a full-time, post bachelor's degree position in the US are eligible for an automatic waiver. However, if you do not meet this criterion but would like to be considered for a waiver, you can submit a written request highlighting your experience with and proficiency in the English language to mba@bu.edu prior to the submission of your application.

Finally, the application deadlines for Full Time MBA are out

Round 1
Application Deadline: October 18, 2017
Date of Decision: December 20, 2017

Round 2
Application Deadline: January 3, 2018
Date of Decision: March 2, 2018

Round 3
Application Deadline: March 19, 2018
Date of Decision: April 27, 2018

International candidates: Please apply no later than Round 2, to leave time for your immigration procedures.

Please note: This will serve as your formal interview and will be used to evaluate you in the admissions process should you decide to submit an application for 2018 entry. You will not be granted another interview after submitting an application if you have conducted a pre-application interview.

The questions asked are mostly the basic ones such as Why MBA, Why now, Why Questrom, an example of leadership experience, your strength and weakness.

Hi Yes,

I had my interview yesterday and it is the usual run off the mill questions. Why MBA? Why BU etc? Career goals and leadership examples. It was very informative and informal.

How do you get notified of status of your application? I do not see any updates to my app online and I submitted the app on 27 Sep.

Do they inform all the dings at the last?

According to my last year's experience, you should prepare for the following questions:
Introduce yourself, Why MBA, why now, why BU, ST and LT goals, an example of leadership, failure & ethical dilemma.
Make sure that you have a couple of strong questions (preferably aligned to your goals) to ask at the end, which should demonstrate your thorough research on the program.
There is nothing to stress about. Treat it like a normal conversation.

All the results of Round 1 shall be intimated via mail in mid of December. Please do not lose hope and start preparing for the remaining process.
Since you still have more than a month for the decision, you might consider retaking your GMAT/GRE if your test scores are lower than expected.

Guys, the Round 1 deadline has been extended to 27th November. Since we still have more than 3 weeks for the deadline, I am planning to conduct a live chat session on GMATClub (at a mutually agreed time and date) where one of members of the Admission Committee can address all our queries. I will try to have one current student too in the chat. Please let me know if you like to have such a session here!!
