Schulich York MBA application questions:

1. How will the Schulich MBA degree help you achieve your short and long-term career goals? (Please limit your answer to 350 words.)
2. (Optional). Is there any other information or areas of concern in your academic or personal history that you believe would be helpful to the Admissions Committee in considering your application?
3. Video essays - Two; You will have 45 seconds to plan your response, and then up to 90 seconds to record it
4. Timed writing essay - One; Immediately following the video essays, you will be asked to answer a question in writing. You will have up to 5 minutes to answer this question.

Jessica Morgan
Jessica Morgan is the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions responsible for the Schulich MBA program. In a normal year she would be travelling the world to meet with you in your home country to discuss the Schulich programs and your aspirations.

Sean Meehan
Before finding his passion for student development, Sean Meehan had a career in real estate administration and held a BA in Politics and Governance from Ryerson with a certificate in Project Management from U of T. After accepting a position teaching English in Japan, he began his career in helping students realize their goals. Since then, he has worked with both international high school students and prospective CPA candidates in taking their next big steps. Now, Sean is a Recruiter for Schulich’s MBA program and helps prospective students navigate the application process.

Students
Deanna Galati
Deanna Galati is a second-year student currently pursuing her MBA at the Schulich School of Business. She is an arts manager and has experience working in producing and professional/community programming for artists. Prior to starting her MBA, she worked with The National Ballet of Canada and the York Region Arts Council. She also works with contemporary dance company princess productions. She hopes to continue making an impact on the arts and culture sector in Canada through research, policy, and funding.

Satwik Nejigar
Satwik Pai Nejigar is a final year MBA student at Schulich School of Business. Previously, Satwik worked as a corporate trainer at Mindtree, an IT and Technology consulting company and as a Project Manager for the Office of Innovation and entrepreneurship at Schulich. Post his MBA, Satwik plans to pursue a career in the higher education domain.

Got the offer from schulich yesterday for winter 2020 intake( jan 2020). Just want to know if they offer any scholarships.

Got the offer from Schulich for winter 2022 (jan 2022). Do they offer any scholarships as well ?

Or how to apply for scholarships? Any idea or suggestions.

Congrats on the offer! What was your Gmat score? How many years of work ex ?

I might be wrong so please fee free to clarify with the adcom but you are automatically considered for the scholarships. If it’s not in your offer letter, you might not have been awarded one.

Thanks Sir. I had 690 in GMAT and 5 years of exp when I applied.

Sure, tyildirim. We will meet.
And no, I didn’t get any separate scholarship mail as of now.

Did you ask them about the scholarship? As far as I remember, by default, you receive 5KCAD scholarship.

No, thinking to send them mail requesting for that but NEED TO DIG MORE FROM MY SIDE before sending.

Hey MayurAhuja ,

Schulich has not mentioned the exact dates on its website. But, it is mentioned that the application portal will open in early August 2021.

So keep checking their website regularly.

Im unable to see the Fall 22 application form. Is it just me or they still havent opened the applications?

The full-time MBA Fall 22 intake application form is NOT available as of now. Schulich did mention that they will start accepting applications for that term in mid-August 2021. But still, they have not started.

But why don't you fill this form: Graduate Programs Inquiry. I think as soon as Schulich starts accepting applications, they will send you the mail.

And yes, do let us know when they start the same. So that students of this forum applying to Schulich don't miss any important updates.

Hi all, I started filling out the Schulich application and I’m not seeing a written essay section, but it says there’s one on the website.

There’s only a section for the video essays. Is anyone else noticing this or have I gone wrong somewhere?

Hi guys, I got through Schulich in R2 this January with an average GMAT. Willing to share my interview experience with anyone interested
