Hi, I am a current MBA student at UC Davis and am happy to answer any of your questions.
As for your interview, be relaxed. It is usually conversational. For me, it was more about my work experience and my reasons for pursuing an MBA. I was interviewed by one of the Adcoms and was told the video will be recorded and viewed by other members of the Adcom and then a final decision would be made which could take 2 weeks to 4 weeks post the interview.

The questions asked were:
1. Elevator pitch - tell me about yourself
2. Why UC Davis
3. Why do you want to switch industries (in case you're a career switcher)
4. How will you ensure you will get into your target industry once you graduate?
5. What's your backup plan? What if you are unable to transition to your transit industry post MBA?
6. Why MBA now?
7. 3 strengths
8. Weakness
9. Biggest accomplishment in professional life
10. Assume you're sitting in front of the AdCom panel. How would you convince the panel in under 5 minutes regarding
a) How you're a good fit for UC Davis and b) How UC Davis is a good fit for you
11. Any questions for the interviewer

I am waiting for the reply from UCD and iMBA Illinois. Did you make a decision yet on UCD or UCR?

Yes, I chose UC davis part-time :-|

I am so not happy, I am unemployed, and I dont think part-time will help me in securing a good full-time job and main reason for an MBA is also a career switch. I want to apply for next year to a different program, but I will have to wait one more year to start the school, and I will be starting school at age 34. I dont know if my age will be a problem for good full-time programs, especially since I have been unemployed since 2016 dec

Congrats on UC Davis! I emailed the counselor today again but she said I will get reply by the next week. I am not sure but you can try to look for a full time job and that will be manageable with the part time MBA. Do you know if UC Davis GSM MBA well accepted in Bay area tech companies? I am also considering going to B-school so that I can come out of coding/automation job. Which field are you switching from?

I dont know much about the corporate job world because only "job" I ever had was military in the aviation field, But UCD is ranked 3rd among the UCies I have heard. someone i know, have completed MBA from one of the top universities in Canada, have told me its a "Decent" school, my roomate who is a Phd student at UCLA also told me its a very good school. the program is AASCB accredited and STEM certified, I have also read good things from the alumini when I was researching about programs. so I think its worth it if you can get in for full-time. All the best
