My understanding is that applications for 2018 will not be live until August 1. Just a couple more days!

Hi all,

The app asks to indicate all of the primary sources of information about the program.
I would love to hear how you guys are going about this. Are they expecting us to mention specific names of the people talked to?

Thanks

Hello Souvik,

How challenging was the application? Are the essay questions the ones listed on the website

NEW APPLICANTS

- Essay Question: Describe your short-term and long-term career goals. How can the UCLA Anderson experience add value to your professional development? (500 words max)

- Short Answer Question: Describe how you would contribute to the UCLA Anderson community. (250 words max)

When you were done with your essays , how long did it take to fill the application?

Hi Souvik,

How was the application experience? How long did it take to put together a solid app? How did you differentiate yourself in the essays? As someone who belongs to the same industry (Energy and Utilities sector) in India, I would be interested in knowing about the student clubs that you are interested in. How did you connect with the current students?

Hi souvik
Congrats on finishing your app.
I'm still struggling with mine.

I don't know how this works, but is it usually recommended to submit apps at the earliest? Are there any advantages?

I'm new to all this and still figuring things out.

Thanks

I am thinking of throwing in a last minute application here.....the essays are similar to Ross so I think I should be able to make it in....but this also means that I haven't done much research outside of the Anderson website and they specifically ask for this information......is this going to be a negative on the app or are they just using this for their own marketing purposes?

I'm a little confused on the essay topic for this year's UCLA application.

On my application, it asks:

NEW APPLICATION -- ESSAY 1: Describe your short-term and long-term career goals. How can the UCLA Anderson experience add value to your professional development? (500 words maximum)

NEW APPLICATION -- ESSAY 2: Describe how you would contribute to the UCLA Anderson community. (250 words maximum)

However, on different essay analysis forums, it has another prompt:
We believe that the best results are achieved when you share success, think fearlessly and drive change. With this in mind, what are your goals at UCLA Anderson and in your short-term and long-term career? (750 words maximum)

I think they changed it this year. The long essay is now broken up into two smaller ones.

I would go with what is on their website and in the application.

Do you think this year's essays are as simple as breaking down the previous year's into two parts?

Hello,
I am seeing this on my review screen for errors in the application.
Academics Missing Dates of Attendance for School #2
I have only done my undergraduate education so there is only 1 university in this section.
Anyone here knows how to proceed?

Thanks
