Will all decisions be sent out by 31st for R2? Even if it’s a WL or reject?

Hello everyone!

First post here. I'm primarily looking to see if anyone has applied to Simon's MS in Business Analytics program for the July 2023 intake. Or, anytime in the past for that matter.

Does anyone have any idea how much time does it usually take to hear back from them? I had my final interview on the 14th of this month, and the application decision deadline is April 20th. Since I am an international applicant, I would need some room to prepare my paperwork in the event I get an offer. I emailed the admissions office with this concern and they got back to me saying if it is possible to extend an early decision they will notify me via email. That was 6 days ago.

That's fine and all, while I'm waiting I wanted to know what is the acceptance rate after the final interview? Is it common for Simon to reject MSBA applicants after final interview?

They definitely mean it. (That they will contact you). Not for MSBA, buy they took about 2 weeks? to get back to me after making the request.

As far as paperwork goes you know, general visa work, and my official transcripts ( I JUST finished my Undergrad). Did you make a similar request?

What do you think about the acceptance rate after interview? What are the chances ( I also opted for funding).

Yes, I made a similar request.

There no way to know about anyone’s actual chances. obviously an interview is better than no interview.

No idea about waiting time. But my friend who interviewed in end of feb or something already received an admit for MSBA

I was referring to the old threads for R1 admissions. Seems like people were informed via a Zoom call link, quite ahead of the decision date.

Anyone experienced something similar for R2.

Good news! I got accepted!

There's a deadline to submit the initial fee. Under the portal it says accept offer and submit by ((Deadline)). Confusion - Do I need to immediately accept the offer now and submit fee later within the deadline or is the deadline same for both acceptance + submission of fee? ( I wanted to take some time to accept)

Congratulations! I believe you could wait latest, untill the specified deadline.

Also, when and how were you informed about the decision?
