Hi
Magoosh team
Okay before I start, what is up with every intro video done by Kevin on 'Tuesdays with Kevin'? He crack me up with his antics.
Now to the post
If I have a sentence like
'Hyenas are efficient hunters like Lions', will this sentence be an ambiguous comparison due to 2 interpretations that can come out of it
1. Comparing lions to hyenas - Interpretation: As lions are efficient hunters, hyenas are efficient hunters too
2. Comparing lions to hunters - Interpretation: Hyenas are efficient hunters. Lions are also an example of a class of hunters
Can the 2nd interpretation exist here?
If not, then could you please tell me as to why hunters can't be compared with Lions?
