I doing this review for two reasons one being I was asked to other being I looked up for these kind of reviews before signing up. So let's hope this is helpful. I got 680 35 V and 47 Q. Despite these modest scores i decided to pursue my MBA . Frankly speaking after GMAT there is not much free resources with which anyone can make a decision.
So I tried few free consultants but most of them are expensive. Instead of going descreptive .i will give pros and cons
Pros
1. Value for money
2. Readily available team
3. Quick response time
4. Initial profile questionnaire and review of your profile
Cons
1.Quality not as per
2. Won't get any help beyond interviews such as help with your visa or info reg financing your mba.
3. The mock interview (i took one ) was sub par.
4. Don't like their rigid planner timeline.
Having said that i would rate 3.5-4 as i know some consultancies who help from end to end. But they may charge 4-4 times for 1 college. If you are from India that could burn a hole in your pocket .With the same amount you could opt for 6 colleges here approx. The help they provide would get you there provided you put your efforts.

Right after signing up for the service, I received a detailed schedule and process and they absolutely stick to it. The professional teams of each department were ready to help and guide me anytime. The unique multimedia material provided by them is a must watch which helps you build your applications. Multiple brainstorming sessions including application story discussion, school shortlisting were held with specialists from each department which help me in refining my application to the finest. Post applications submissions, I took a mock interview and review session that was exactly of the same format of final interviews and in couple of cases, broadly same questions were asked in my final interviews.
I had used EG's services for preparing/reviewing all admission essays to the 11 b-schools I had applied to in the year 2016. While I appreciated the honesty of my assigned reviewer, Mr. Shailesh Otari , who was quite honest in stating that my 680 Gmat score would get me no good US b-schools with scholarship, his simple lack of timely responses to my multiple emails while reviewing my essays miffed me . Just to be clear on the facts, I eventually went on to score a 710 on the GMAT and applied to the 11 b-schools as stated above. The standard essays of Mr. Otari are a "please all , offend none" kind of a thing. They are pretty much boiler plate sentences tweaked enough to make it look like one's own. But, I doubt whether any top b-school would not recognize the boiler plate essays that were shaped up by Mr. Otari. Since I had very little time, I decided to wing it with EG, but many of my friends who had a high GMAT score and went on to using much costlier essay reviewing services got very good b-schools ( Anderson, Cornell etc.) . My background aside, I expected a bit better essays from EG for the money I paid. My advise to US MBA aspirants is to first score a good Gmat score ( >=740), ask few MBA admits about their review of the essay services they used, and then take a final call. Of-course, all of this requires time and effort, which I didn't have.
