The coolest things about the GMAT Club Tests 3.0 (Beta): [Try them yourself]

  1. Really detailed analytics - it is probably more stats and performance details than anyone would ever want but we wanted to give that option and choice to users. You now have an option to add even non-GMAT Club into the "My Performance" area.
  2. Save your results and export them - we have added ability to download your results in Excel or PDF format
  3. Very flexible Quiz engine - you can guild quizzes by 40+ topics, you can use questions that have been attempted (such as the ones you have guessed or made a mistake on) or you can take unattempted questions. You can also take bookmarked questions or those you have taken over 3 mins to answer. You can also build a quiz from within the "Mistake Analysis" in the "My Performance" area - select the questions you would like in your quiz using filters and click "Build a Quiz" button
  4. We have added a browse mode to quizzes. A number of your requested to be able to browse all 1,200+ questions - we have added this functionality for you
  5. We have optimized the algorithm that has increased the overall number of quant CAT's to 19
  6. Many other features have been added to the question review screen - you now have ability to save notes on every question, see statistics to understand how other test takers perform, and provide feedback to us to improve the questions themselves.
  7. We are adding more quant and verbal questions. The new questions will be in the database by June 1st (we have over 100 new questions to add), which will in turn increase the number of CAT's even higher
  8. Tests now have a pause feature - you can pause them for a few mins or a month; they also are resilient to connection issues and will automatically go into "pause" mode if you lose connection to the internet.
  9. Full redesigned interface with other great functionality - name tests after you finish them to be descriptive, you can mark questions as "Reviewed"

2016 Updates

  • We have updated Quant and Verbal Algorithms to be more accurate
  • We have made the free test a CAT, representative of your experience with GMAT Club tests
  • We have added "Collections" - this allows you to create your own custom quizzes and practice sets. Collections also can be shared and you can see what Bunuel has saved
  • Forum discussions are now integrated with the explanations so you can see what comments or alternative solutions other users have proposed without leaving the Tests
  • We are adding a feature allowing you to download all of your notes you have saved for each of the question to use as a study log

Thank you very much!
Also thank you to all those who have provided suggestions for improvement. We have squished a few bugs in the last 24 hours, so the experience should be smoother now, but the tests are still in Beta, so more polishing may be needed.

Best Regards,
BB

Hi BB, great work on the tests. Just wanted to find out are there any discounts coming up on the gmatclub tests. You should provide 3-4 day window in some months for a discount on these tests. Thanks.

Do the beta tests and the earlier, existing tests version share the same question pool? And if yes does that mean one might need to buy both separately?
Thanks.

BB,

I agree the tests have the best analytics so far I have seen.

Furthermore, most of the quant oriented GMAT prep companies would be closed if things like these come on GC 8-)

Lucky to be on this forum.

TGC!

Hi. If you purchase a subscription to one of the tests (new or the "old" ones) you will get access to BOTH for the time being. You get both. Eventually we will discontinue the "old" tests and only the new ones will remain. Yes, all of the questions contained in the old tests are in the new ones as well but the new ones will have more questions (we are adding them this week)

Hi BB,

I have a query regarding the tests. I have a free subscription of the GMAT-club tests, which I received as part of the free resources with my purchase of the E-GMAT verbal online. I have not activated the tests yet, so when I do so using my free code, whether I will get access to the new tests or to the older version, which as you have suggested in this post will be discontinued eventually.

Thanks

Great job on the features. Took something that was already a great deal and made it even better.

I'm amazed with the interface and the statistics. The option for taking quizzes with questions I previously missed is really really good!

I noticed that the question level (500/600/700) is different from the old platform. Most of the questions are leveled as 700s. Is this some beta-error that you guys are planning to correct or is this the real deal for now?

Will the new platform recognize my progress until now? I mean, are the statistics applicable for the tests I took in the old platform?

Thank you - yes, it seems the difficulty level was not assigned/imported correctly into the new tests - we are changing it today, and starting tomorrow, you may notice a difference in that. We will also sync up the difficulty in the Question Details with the difficulty in the review area (they were two different values)

Thank you for bringing it up!

Thanks for the reply BB.

Will you guys sync the progress on the old platform with the new platform? It would be great to try the questions I scored wrong. This feature in the new system is amazing!

Love the new GUI and performance metrics/graphics!

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but when downloading question data for Excel it will be in Comma Separated Value (CSV) format, so, upon exporting it into Excel, you will most likely see it in an odd looking format and all squished together into column A....

To expand the data into its proper columns: highlight column A --> find the "Data" tab/menu at the top of the screen -> click "Text to Columns" --> choose "delimited" and click next --> make sure only the semi-colon option is checked --> click "next" --> from here you can assign formats to each column, or bypass this and click "next"

Edit: I know this is Quant forum, but not sure where else to write it...I took the GMAT Club Free Knewton SC test earlier and upon reviewing the data dump, noticed every question was marked at 700 level...this can't be right...you may want to look into this, thx

Excellent work.

But there are still very few verbal tests. The number of Verbal CAT is still 5. Is there any plan to expand the question pool of verbal?

Thx

Hie
Awesome test and awesome statistics ,better than any tests I have given so far .
I just had a problem, during these these tests Ioften get an error message that there is no net connectivity and do you want to pause or resume .There is no problem with the network and when I do resume it works absolutely fine and the pages load without a problem. But these messages keep repeating .It is both irritating and wastes time clicckingresume button again and again.
Does anybody else face the same problem
Is there something I can do to resolve it

Thank you - we are looking into this. I have had one other user report it (we will review your logs and hopefully eradicate it)

If there is anything else that seems off or odd, please do not hesitate.

Best Regards,
BB

No, rest is awesome.I have given 5 test as yet and they seem wonderful ,specially the analysis.I love the vibrant colors used for line and bar graphs.
Hopefully you would be able to look into the matter soon.

I attempted my first Quant CAT and I had to end the exam after 3 questions. I see weird symbols in the questions. Screenshot attached. Please resolve this issue.

Tests and interface are great--this is an invaluable resource. One question--is the Q score supposed to match what the Q score on the actual GMAT or GMATprep software would give? Asking because it seems inflated for me (Q47 and Q45 on last 2) as I scored Q36 on actual GMAT taken less than 1 week ago?
