I would like to share my IIM Lucknow PGP experience. I graduated from IIM L in 2013. I had worked at a Hedge Fund (making more than 20L p.a. 10 years back) and had finished CFA Level 1 before my MBA.
Unfortunately, my experience at IIM L was not upto my expectations. I was earning less post my MBA than before my MBA for atleast 3- years
It took me a while to get back to where I had hoped to reach post my MBA.
After a lot of introspection, I realized that an MBA was not the right decision for me at that time and I liked Technology and coding much more.
I felt that I could have waited for a few years and targeted a foreign MBA
I would strongly urge all future applicants to do thorough Due Diligence before choosing any B-School, especially IIM L if they are interested in Finance and Technology.
