As of now, ISB has pushed back the start of on-campus classes to May 23.

The program has been reduced from 51 weeks to 46 weeks, with no change in the total number of contact hours.

A month has been reduced? wow. How will this impact the study cycle? Have they started online classes in the meantime? Could this affect placements?

The number of contact hours are the same, so yes this year would be a bit more intense. ISB will continue with this structure (46 weeks) for future classes as well, so the change is permanent.

Impact on placements - difficult to gauge just yet. ISB will pull out all stops to make the most in the situation though. Placement season start at ISB also slightly delayed, but this doesn't mean a negative impact on placements.

If its permanent will it also affect fees?

The lockdown has significantly impacted the beginning of classes this year. With many schools and universities transitioning to online learning, students and instructors have had to adapt to a new education format. While online classes provide flexibility, they also present technical difficulties, lack of in-person interaction, and difficulty accessing online resources.
However, the lockdown has also led to the rise of online class help services supporting students struggling with coursework and assignments. These services include tutoring, writing assistance, and exam preparation. Additionally, instructors have had to become more creative in teaching methods to keep students engaged and motivated.
Overall, the lockdown has presented challenges but has also led to new opportunities for online class help and innovation in online education. It remains important for students to seek out support services and actively engage in their online classes to ensure academic success.
