Per email from Admissions today, Northwestern is revamping their application system and questions will be out in August.

That may change, but that's the latest scoop if anyone here is interested.

nickg1386, can you please confirm - they said that QUESTIONS wouldn't be out till August? Or that the application would not open till then?

These are two different events and most schools release questions much earlier.

If indeed the essays won't be out till then, we hope they have a good answering machine in Admissions, 'cuz they're gonna be getting a lot of phone calls in the next month!

My apologies. Reread email, and Only confirmed that they are revamping the application system. No word on essay release date.

Cool. Well, since Booth released questions on Friday, maybe that will inspire Kellogg to do the same next week. They're basically the only school left that hasn't! (And Tuck.)

Hey essaysnark--Do you know if these are the Kellogg questions for this year or for last? The link is buried in the Kellogg website, so I'm not sure.

2013 Application Essay Questions
Discuss moments or influences in your personal life that have defined who you are today. (500 word limit)

What have been your most significant leadership experiences? What challenges did you face, and what impact did you have? This is your opportunity to explain how you Think Bravely (personally and/or professionally). (500 word limit)

Imagine yourself at your Kellogg graduation. What career will you be preparing to enter, and how have the MBA and Kellogg helped you get there? (Please answer in terms of your program choice: One-Year, Two-Year, MMM, JD-MBA) (500 word limit)

What one interesting or fun fact would you want your future Kellogg classmates to know about you? (25 words or less)

Jul 9, 2013

@nickg1386, those are last year's questions. Kellogg makes some fairly significant changes to essay questions every year and we're guessing this year will be no different. They typically release questions mid-July so they're not actually behind schedule, it's just that all the other schools moved essay question release up this year.

No wonder it was buried. Much obliged.

Good to see Kellogg giving us some space to write. Also, removing 2 rounds per round thing is a welcome change.
