During the course, the instructor had to ask someone else to take over due to an unfortunate emergency. However, the person who replaced Jamie had a different approach, and I felt this session was a bit wasted. Next time such a thing happens, maybe have some handover in case of emergencies to enable smooth and quick transfers.

Overall, the course was great. I got a lot of tips and recommended practices that allowed me to prepare as well as I could to pass the GMAT. During the course, Jamie provided a lot of super useful examples, or "Jamiesms" as she would call them, that helped me a lot to become better at this test. Jamie was super available to help me decrypt my results and see how I could improve after the mock tests, which was very helpful to better target the potential areas of improvement. The good thing for me was the questions it was really hard for me as this was my second attempt at GMAT and I had exhausted my resources all the OGS, verbal review and quant review and the MBA.com mock tests so I had no original material left but manhattan questions are the next best thing and the way they explain sc questions are amazing.

I would recommend to improve the quant section and the weightage of some topics on quant because in my mba.com exams and original gmat both attempts I did not receive a lot of geometry questions.

The tests helped me improve both my quant and verbal skills because of the comprehensive test material they provided. The explanations are also good and crisp. The courses I took were virtual due to COVID, and Paul was my instructor. He was very down to earth and made the concepts easy to understand. He really engrained different ways of thinking and methods of finding solutions, which were essential in time management and scoring well on the GMAT. I took the 9-week Manhattan Prep course with Dave, and in addition to his top notch teaching, the class environment he fostered also made the time more enjoyable. Overall, Manhattan Prep's UI was very good and the strategy guides were as well. I had never taken the GMAT before and no familiarity with test, and scored in the high 500s on my first Manhattan Prep CAT. After the class, which was a great foundational intro, I began tutoring with Dave. His insight and ability to explain concepts and strategies were excellent, and he always knew the right leading questions to ask. Dave helped me fine tune my processes, time management, and strategy execution, and I scored a 710 on my first real GMAT. This class was excellent preparation for the GMAT. The curriculum is extremely helpful, and the provided book material covers all of the aspects of the GMAT very well. I was particularly happy with the "foundations" books provided that refreshed my understanding of math and grammar concepts I had not used, at least formally, in decades. I absolutely loved taking my 9-week Live Online GMAT course with Jamie. Not only was she a fantastic explainer but she also made the classes very interactive and enjoyable. I genuinely looked forward to them in the midst of a busy work week.

Jamie was able to break down complex concepts into simple steps that were easy to follow. This was particularly beneficial for me in Quant as I come from a psychology background, so I hadn't dealt with numbers for years. There's no other way to put it except that her strategies just made sense - and if they didn't, she made sure to explain again until the entire class got them. She even taught us multiple methods to answer the same question so students could choose those they were most comfortable with.

Jamie also was a great motivator and instilled confidence in me and my peers. I remember I wasn't happy with the results of a couple of my practice tests and she was extremely supportive and empathetic. She even live analyzed one of these tests during class, which was very helpful for both me and my peers.
