keep in mind:
- quality over quantity
- study each question very carefully to improve your correct answer rate
- try to understand each question first of all from the meaning stand point

Please, avoid statements such as: some questions are not so tough. your goal is to solve questions of each level and range. I do not stress this point enough: is unuseful to solve a 700 level question if then you do not know how to solve question from 500 or 680 level. You never reach the legendary threshold if you think so.

here you have tough questions and easier questions (well not so easy) but the overall lesson is: try to understand each concept tested. That's it

last but not least: do not forget to give kudos to the authors . Thanks a lot.

I d say this would be the best way to tackle SC before touching OG and any other sources because once you do this and review thoroughly a LOT of OG questions would suddenly start making a lot of sense

Personally speaking, though, I disagree with Ron on the fact that the ing form after comma DO NOT desbribe what comes before i.e. sporadically erupting

I have a query about question # 27 in the said file...
"The Principal, having increased..............students to a teacher"
The correct answer as per the OA is D:
Although the principal has increased the number of teachers in the school, he is still being accused of maintaining a poor ratio of students to a teacher"
Isnt the "still" in this answer choice redundant? since the sentence starts off with "although"..
Please clarify.

Hello..In my opinion,its not redundant..read this eg.

Although tom repaired his car,it still pertains the same issue.

Hi Soumya,
Still can be used in two ways

1. Contrast use: I am new at work, still I am bombarded with assignments. Here still is used to set contrast, similar to although. Although and still (used for contrast), cannot be used together

2. Temporal (to use time: He is still coming to school. This is used to denote time. This can be used with although.

In your sentence the still is used to denote the time AFTER he has increased the number of teachers.

Hope this makes sense.
