Magoosh - brilliant in Math - and lots of questions to practice.

First of all, I want to say that I have been a Magoosh client since 2014. I really liked how thorough the quant material is explained. The videos are structured by the topic. At the end of each topic, you can take a quiz. Can't say much on the verbal, as I combined Magoosh with E-GMAT. Nonetheless, I can say that the questions represent additional practice.
Very Hard questions seem pretty challenging, yet the concepts tested are very simple...it only makes you faceslap yourself for making such silly mistakes.
Mike McGarry is an awesome teacher, and his feedback is always valuable. Overall, Magoosh's feedback is way better than the ones from other companies (i.e. e-Gmat).

I strongly recommend taking the courses if you need to brush up your fundamentals in Quant.

Quick update: Magoosh helped me to increase my raw Q score to 49, which is not bad at all.

Improvement N/A

Course e-GMAT Online Focused

I enrolled for e-GMAT courses after failing to get the desired score on the real GMAT. Overall, I increased my score, but my verbal decreased by 2 points. I thought at that time that my greatest weakness was SC. After 1M of preparing, i retook the GMAT, and did not see any improvements. I got my enhanced score report, and to my surprise, the results were not as expected. I thus then decided to improve all the parts of the verbal section.
SC - really awesome explanations..I saw my accuracy improve greatly. Nonetheless, at tough and tricky questions..i still sometimes get wrong...
CR - dang...looks like this is one of my greatest weaknesses..I still struggle with tough Assumptions/Inference/Must be true questions...
RC - to be honest, I haven't even looked into it, as I don't think there are strategies for RC. Though, while preparing for CR, I noticed that my RC improved as well. I try to believe that studying for CR is the reason, though I started to read a lot lately...

Scholaranium - really great portal with lots of questions structured by difficulty level. Feedback though, is way worse than Magoosh's. Sometimes I waited for 5-6-7 days to get a response...

would I recommend the course? definitely. but only if you need to learn on your own pace.

I took my GMAT today, for the fourth time :D, and without doubt, this test center was the best so far.
Since I never seen the test center nor the building where it is located, I arrived 1 hour before the scheduled time. The personnel was very friendly and understanding. I was allowed to take the exam before the scheduled time. Toilets are really close, so does not require a lot of time to get there (for at ex. test center on Adams St. - Chicago - toilets are bit far, and hard to find - 8 minutes is kind of not enough if you want to go to the toilet and eat smth during the break).

Signed and scanned my palm and was ready for the fight.
The test center has 2 rooms. The one in which I was had 10 computers, each separated in a cubicle. I was given headphones / noise cancellation devices / 2 markers and 1 scratch pad.

One of the drawbacks though - if you finish a section ahead of time, even if you CAN take longer breaks, you will not be allowed to!!!
I finished my quant section 25 minutes ahead of time!!! and to my surprise, when I asked to use my break + time remained (I really did not need 33 minutes of break), the person who was monitoring everything clicked smth on the screen and bam - to my shock i had only 8 minutes of break.
Same thing happened after IR - I had 8 minutes left...and of course..i could not use any extra time for the break...

overall, i would give 4.5/5 to this center.

Very accurate in scoring, and good for practice

I have used for a very long period of time GMAT Club Tests. For my preparations for my latest exam, I have used GMAT Club tests for practice, especially the quant ones. Needless to say, the "predictability" of the tests is outstanding. I had been constantly getting 47-49 on Quant, and I got 49 on the real test.
Just as MGMAT CAT's quant sections are, so are GMAT Club's quant tests in terms of "difficulty". Tests are more "difficult" than the real test, yet studying on "hard mode" makes you more vigilant (most of the questions rely on basic concepts, the mastering of which is crucial in getting a high score).
I really appreciate the effort that was put in creating these tests, as I have noticed that each question CAN be solved not just in 2 ways, but some times in 3 and more ways.

Verbal tests are accurate as well. I scored 30 on the real test, while getting 30-40 on the GMAT Club's tests.

Are the tests worth it? I say yes. Nonetheless, the possibility to buy tests with kudos gives everyone the chance to try GMAT Club's CAT's.
