Thank You Poonam for helping me achieve my dream!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

There were mainly two reasons why I decided to sign up for myEassyReview services.

First, I had a low GMAT score and the only things which were strong with my profile were my community service, my goal in life and my professional accomplishments. I wanted to make sure that I presented all these parts of my profile in such a good way that it would cover for my very low GMAT. And I felt there wouldn’t have been anyone except Poonam who could do that for me. Second, from what I could find about Poonam, I came to know about her honesty and about her straight forwardness, and I wanted someone who could provide an honest feedback. So I requested for free consultation meeting.

The free consultation meeting was as expected. I had mailed Poonam about my plans, goals and the schools that I was targeting before the meeting itself. During the consultation meeting, she provided me with her honest feedback and left everything on me to decide if I wanted to work with her or not. This really made me feel she is someone who is seriously concerned about the future of her students, so I signed up for 1 school package, and we started working immediately. We first worked on the resume and then picked up essays.

I believe the art of putting the right content for the right question is something that Poonam has mastered over the years. All I had to do was to come up with the ideas/stories that I was planning to use for the question and she would give the best of her suggestions. I feel one needs to have years of experience to give the type of suggestions that I received. Thank you Poonam! Another thing I really liked about Poonam’s style was the way she edited essays. It was professional and with all the drafts and edits in the same document you can easily figure out how well your essay has transformed with each edit. For my essays, she connected the dots well and gave a perfect structure.

I believe to bring down the word count is the most difficult part of MBA essay editing. But with Poonam, I would say you can write your content without really caring about word count and leave it up to her to convey the same thing in a more concise manner and I am pretty sure she will be able to do it and that too in the most efficient way. Once she knows your story, she can bring them up in the most beautiful way you would have ever imagined. As for her turnarounds, got all my edits/ re-edits within 36 hours, to be specific. Not only that, Poonam made sure she responded to all my questions/doubts on time and to say the least, despite her busy schedule, she is up to each and every task.

I would say if you are looking for a genuine consultant who would work for your better future, there cannot be anyone better than Poonam. May she continue to help, and I am pretty sure her students will have a great experience working with her. I would also like to request everyone to make sure you do your work before sending drafts to her. I made sure my drafts were written to the best of my ability before sending them to her.

Although I had already written most of essays and was confident that they were good, I decided to sign up for a single essay review service so as to double check the quality of my work. I signed up for myEssayReview because it was highly rated at GMAT Club, and because it offered very competitive pricing for a one essay review. After completing the review process with Poonam for this essay, I realized that she helped me to elevate the quality of my essay to an entirely new level! As a result, I decided to sign up to essay review to six schools I applied as well as résumé review. Here is my feedback on my experience of working with Poonam:

Understands you as a person: Poonam was interested in understanding my whole story as an applicant and as a person, though I had initially just signed up for a one essay review. In addition, I could also understand her background and method of working, which helped us to work productively while not losing sight of my goals and characteristics. She provided me valuable advice on my school selection, application strategy, time management, and even résumé improvements, all of which were not part of the scope of my original service hired.

Delivers a Clear Sentence Structure: Poonam demonstrated that my first drafts had stories with unnatural flow, frequently lacking a clear link between the story and the point I was trying to make. Once we identified the point, then we discussed on how each part of the example was supporting the point. This method was vital not only to stay focused on my key messages but also to trim side arguments and reach the tight word limits. Poonam used an effective and elegant word choice - not overly sophisticated vocabulary. As a non-native speaker, I found it so helpful because I wouldn´t be comfortable with words that I would never write on my essays.

Effective Edits: Effective editing/trimming of essays is one of Poonam’s main strengths. I frequently sent her very large essays thinking, there is no way to achieve the allowed word-limit – but she consistently delivered on the word limit! In addition, I found helpful that she offered my choices on what contents to sacrifice or details to omit, so that I was able to consciously evaluate the trade offs and make choices that maintained the essence of my examples.

Results speak for themselves! In the end, I was interviewed to all of the six schools I applied, admitted to four of them (Kellogg, Berkeley-Haas, Yale SOM and UCLA Anderson) and waitlisted at Stanford GSB. Plus, three of them offered me substantial scholarships! Kellogg-70K scholarship (Donald Jacobs scholarship), Yale SOM - 20k scholarship , UCLA Anderson -70k scholarship. Now I’m heading to Kellogg with scholarship! I had never imagined I would be so successful. Without doubt, Poonam has contributed substantially!

Beyond being admitted to my dream school with scholarship, I gained a lot from working with Poonam. I improved my writing and critical thinking abilities, and also had a great time working with Poonam. Thank you Poonam for your guidance.

I had an unsuccessful application last year and was looking to work with someone with experience in helping students achieve their dreams. I read excellent reviews on GMAT club and on the website itself. So I requested for free consultation meeting. The meeting was great. But most importantly, Poonam reviewed my resume and told me that it was way below par. This really put me on my toes and confirmed my decision to sign up for her services.

We started working immediately and from the beginning, Poonam’s guidelines helped me introspect. I definitely had to put more effort in thinking creatively to come up with a story-like approach for my essay. I bookmarked her essay analysis on GMAT club and read it over and over again until I could come up with a creative answer for the question asked. For every part of the question asked, having an idea of how many words should be used and the examples helped me construct my essay which was polished and refined with the help of her guidelines. She gave me the sort of strict feedback I required in my first essay, and I think because of that the other essays went smooth

After putting together all the details of the story, the most daunting task was trimming it to the allowed word limit, and I was totally stunned to see that no detail was lost even when she trimmed essays from 750 odd words to 600 words. Absolutely amazing!! Needless to say that she took care of all grammatical aspects really well. Word choice to emphasize certain aspects was also fantastic that helped pruning words.

Lastly, I was extremely happy with her turnarounds as we finished our work quickly. Our last 3 essays finished in an average of 3-4 days.

I had a great time working with Poonam. She takes a lot of interest in your application, and it reflects in the work that is produced. Even after wrapping up the application, I kept in touch with her whenever I had any questions/concerns, and she promptly responded back.
I have received 3 admit offers ( Smith, Carlson, and Boston )with generous scholarships. As a re-applicant, I couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks a lot for your help, Poonam. I've waited so long for this moment (3 GMAT attempts and 2 application seasons) and was over the moon when I saw the Smith mail(my first admit). Your guidance was key and it helped me better my application 100x when compared to last year.

Yay!! I made it to Chicago Booth weekend program for spring 2016. I can't exactly describe how happy I am today. My interview was last weekend on 8 Jan at gleacher center and got the result this afternoon .Thank you so much for your expert guidance ...I stumbled across your service/ profile on GMAT club forum, and I am so glad I did!!.

Working with you was an extremely enriching experience for me. You helped me immensely with my essays and recommendation letters from start to finish. Not only this, in times of dilemma on choosing stories, you guided me in the right direction. You are very professional and thorough to work with. I was seriously impressed by your personalized attention to all my essays and LORs, unlike other cookie cutter consultants. I know I have tried your patience initially with me delaying my apps start date. But, nevertheless, you helped me sail through this whole process well before time.

I followed your advice verbatim for the interview. And it was spot on... I have gotten invite from Kelley too, and I am pretty confident I will get from Kellogg too if I submit, but it would be too foolish to throw Booth convert away. First interview and first convert of season ... Could not have started 2016 on a better note. My new year is really Happy!!! Thank you for being the Krishna of this Arjuna. Words can't thank you enough!! I would recommend you to anyone I know in a heartbeat.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!

I choose myEssayReview services because of reasonable price, great reviews and good reputation. Actually, I had researched a lot before making my decision of enrolling for 1 school package of myEssayReview. I am glad that I made a good decision as I have received admit from my dream school - Leeds.

Thanks to Poonam’s suggestion and guidelines, I could understand the questions of essay clearly which helped me choose the rights content and stories that focused on making my story stronger. Poonam is excellent in arranging the structure for essays. After she organized my essays, I could
see how bad my essay structure was. Her edits and suggestions greatly helped in making my stories more logical and effective. Even though I understand the importance word-limit, I have problems with limiting my words in essays. She helped me trim down my essays in the very reasonable way making them smooth and logical.

I’m not good at writing and this made it hard for me to work on my essays. She re-worded my sentences, changed my words to make sentences more beautiful, and corrected my grammar. I was very happy with the final product.

There were delays on my part in sending her essay drafts .The deadline was only four days away and we still had to work on 2 essays. She understood my problem and sent me her edits/ feedback me in 3-4 hours only. Thanks for her hard work, professionalism and quick feedback, we finished essays in only 3 days which I had not expected. I submitted my application a day before the school’s deadline which was awesome.

During the process, l emailed her or sent her skype message about my concerns/ questions. I always received her feedback quickly addressing all my concerns.

I like the way Ms Poonam works and her professionalism. She follows her schedule, but she was also flexible in changing her schedule following my request because of my busy work schedule. That really helped make the process easy and enjoyable.

Thank you, Poonam for your help. I couldn’t have done this without you

Great service and Excellent Value

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I decided to sign up for myEssayReview services because of relatively good price, relevant sample essays, and blog posts. First I signed up for 1 school package (Haas) and later extended my contract for Wharton’s EMBA program as well. I have been accepted by both.

Following a brainstorming Skype call, Poonam provided me with essay examples, guidelines, and outlines that helped showcase my candidacy. Through Poonam, I learned what stories were relevant to business school and how to present them in a clear and direct way. She also did an amazing job restructuring and reformatting my resume.

Her editing service was very effective. All essays were trimmed to the max word limit without losing any important aspects of the piece. She did her edits and corrections in a timely manner.

I had a great experience working with Poonam. She was able to encourage me as well as make suggestions that would prove beneficial to the final product. Without her invaluable support, I don't think I would have been accepted to either school. Thank you so much Poonam!

I first read about myEssayReview when I was looking for tips on ISB essays and found the essay analysis by Poonam to be very helpful and clear. As a re-applicant to ISB, I felt confident in myEssayReview services .So I approached Poonam and signed up for 1 school package.

When I first submitted the essays they were all over the place. Poonam’s suggestions made me realize that most of the time I was missing the link in my stories; she was able to spot the missing links and get out the relevant content from me. She asked valid questions and simplified language so that it becomes clear what I wanted to say in my essays. Thus, she helped me in generating ideas for each essay question and create a sensible story that will impress the Ad Com. The word limit specifications of ISB were very stringent, but Poonam was very effective in trimming down the essays to the specified word limit while keeping all the content and not changing the meaning. She used simple and clear language that is easily comprehensible.

Poonam was very flexible with the turnaround times, sometimes coming back within 12 hours in crunch times. She never missed a deadline! She was aware of the deadlines and concerned as well and made sure that the essays/LORs were complete by the deadline. Throughout the process, she satisfactorily addressed all my concerns and queries.

I must say, working with Poonam was a great experience. Thank you Poonam for your support. It wouldn’t have been possible without the splendid job you did with my essays :)

I am very thankful to Poonam as I got admitted to my dream school. I had a wonderful journey with her throughout my application process.
After I was done with my GMAT, I spent at least 100 hours reading the reviews of various admission consultant services. I finally decided to sign up for a multiple schools package with Poonam because she is an AIGAC certified consultant whereas most of the other consultants are not. Pricing is also very reasonable compared to the other consultant firms. Most importantly, her success rate is on the higher side.
Initially, we both had telephonic and skype calls to brainstorm stories for essays (goals, accomplishments , background, mistakes, setback culture shock etc.) so that we would be ready for the right content when the schools would release essay questions. She sent me a framework/outline for every single essay we worked on that helped me put together my first drafts. With each edit she sent me, the essays kept getting better and better, and I was able to submit my best essays for every school. The essays always carried the right content to the essay prompts. Her guidelines and suggestions not only helped me choose the right content but also helped me find my own voice. I was glad that she never compromised on the content to get the allowed word-limit. The sentence structure was excellent and apt to the content. She always provided better words to showcase the content of my essays. Her editing was so perfect that she never even missed a punctuation mark: comma, semicolon, and colon etc. She perfectly followed the turn-around time ( 24-48 hours) and followed the best practice by informing me about her schedule in advance .
Poonam’s kindness and her dedication to work are exemplary. For one of my schools, I was just about to submit the application when I found out that it needed one extra essay about which I didn’t know earlier. It was a shocker for me because I had only 2 days left before the deadline. At that time, Poonam was about to board a flight to go on a one week vacation as per the schedule she had already informed me weeks in advance. Even during that crunch situation, she had sent me the edited essay from the airport because of which I was able to submit the application on time. This speaks a ton about her dedication towards her work and her concern for her students.
I am very thankful to Poonam as I got admitted to my dream school. I had a wonderful journey with her throughout my application process. Apart from essay writing, I have learned many things from her such as punctuality, following the schedule, loving own work etc. I will implement these qualities in my daily life and strive to become a better person.
I recommend Poonam to everyone who is very much willingly to have a bright future and an MBA admission.

My essay review rocks!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I always feared to sign up with a consultant until I met you. In fact, I thought that I wouldn’t find someone who would understand me and help me the way you did. I truly valued each moment of working with you. It was amazing to have someone who is more dedicated to my success than I was. Poonam you’re the best consultant I know.

You’re a master story teller. Before I signed up for school review, I didn't have any clue about how to deliver my story in the most compelling way. Your suggestion and guidelines on each essay’s first edit gave me enough information that helped me correct my mistakes and restructure my story.

Your structure for essays and recommendation letters were well defined and easy to follow. I think that you did a great job specifically with this part which on my hand helped me to write my essays quickly. I also noticed and appreciated your suggestion on recommendation letters. In fact, you nicely and smartly forced the recommenders to write a compelling recommendation by answering the questions asked instead of skimming through the questions.

I was particularly pleased that you always trimmed my essays down to word-limit and were still be able to picture the most important parts of my story. You helped me to understand that a long essay doesn’t always make a compelling essay. It’s all about structure and how to use words wisely. You chose the words concisely and smartly. Your use of grammar was impeccable. I had a friend read my essay and she couldn't find any grammar mistake (she’s very good in English grammar). ☺

I was especially impressed with your turn around. You’re the most dedicated person in turning around your edits and you have good time management skills. In fact, I am the bad one. ☺.

This week, I have received admit from Cornell with a scholarship. I have also interviewed with Wisconsin .

I received a full Consortium fellowship from U of Wisconsin which includes stipend and healthcare.

I decided to join the Badgers ( University of Wisconsin )

Thank you for your dedication, time and help. You helped me to believe that I can do it even with a below 600 GMAT score !!

Excellent services

First of all, Poonam is a wonderful coach.

She started by putting a lot of effort into digging out my best stories in order to get a good selection for typical themes (leadership, setback, goals, etc).
The editing process is pretty structured: she uses the first couple of edits to get the right content (without concerning with word count) and the last couple of edits to make the essays comply with the word count limits.

During the whole process she kept me very motivated, especially when I needed some wake-up calls.

I worked with her on 4 school applications and every single school invited me to interview. Furthermore, I have already been accepted by 3 of them (adding to more than US$70k in scholarships).
