Hello,
RadheyaKulkarni. I like the list in the post above. I may be a little simplistic in my approach, but I advocate practicing official RC passages to get better at the RC task. Sure, reading on the side can help you in many ways, but doing so will not necessarily make you better at the GMAT™, and news stories and articles do not come with exam-like questions attached. My search through the
Practice Question Banks of all boxes marked "
Official Guide," "
OG," or "Verbal Review" turned up over four pages of results, and keep in mind, that is not even touching the pages of results that come up using "GMAT Prep." (I would save these latter questions for after you have gone through official practice tests 1-6.)
In short, I advocate reading for fun. (If it makes you a sharper reader, so much the better.) I recommend preparing for the GMAT™ by looking at the GMAT™. There are plenty of questions on which to hone your craft.
Good luck with your studies.
- Andrew
