This review is for UC Davis
Program Part Time MBA (SanFrancisco BayArea and Sacramento)
Class of 2018
UC Davis' Sacramento part time program has two key strengths: diversity of student body and location.
The first truly contributes to a well-rounded education. The academics are certainly great, but I've learned far more from my peers and their experiences than I have from the classroom. Davis has done a great job of managing to create cohorts that are both diverse (from educational background, to life experience, to race & gender) and cohesive.
The second definitely is the Sacramento & Bay location. While the school is often overlooked by close neighbors Stanford & UC Berkeley, Davis certainly has an "in" with Bay Area companies. The Sacramento location also benefits from being located at the UCD Medical Center (healthcare) and Sacramento (government) in general. We get the perks of being relatively close to the Bay but also the perks of being located directly in the State Capital.

The School is great in terms of brand value and course curriculum. With more number of elective courses it is convenient to tailor program as per personal interest. There is no stress on taking any Major for MBA program, students are encouraged to take courses as per their interests.
Faculty is renowned and experienced. Due to good student - faculty ratio, interaction with faculty is easy and welcomed.
Small and cohort class size makes the MBA experience more interactive. Also batches are pretty diverse in terms of experience, gender and nationalities.
The School also has an advantage of location, with proximity to bay area students can easily visit and interact with executives of many companies.
