The Best Regional School... until it was cut

This review is for Wake Forest

Program Full Time MBA

Class of 2015

Experience during the program

I loved my time at Wake Forest. It was an intimate class size of 40 students, but still had strong regional name recognition. The program was considered a tier 2 or 3 school but I was fine with that since the price tag was literally half of other ACC schools and they were willing to offer a hefty scholarship whereas Fuqua and Darden offered no financial aid.

The career placement team was seriously top notch. They made sure every student who wanted a paid internship got a paid internship, and that is how the majority of MBAs get their first job out of school. So I can't say enough good things about the career services; they made all the difference for a lot of students.

In the end, I left with some great connections, a job with a fortune 50 company, a six figure salary, and only a couple thousand dollars in student loans... well worth the investment.

About professors, classes and curriculum

They have since cut the full time program. I was the second to last class to graduate so it's a real shame no one else will really benefit from the contributions my class and professors made to the school.
