Who are the best MBA admission consultants in India? : Ask Admissions Consultants - Page 2

May 8, 2020

Hi
Like everyone else, after giving my GMAT I was looking for a consultant to help me guide through the daunting process of building an application for MBA college. I talked to a few consultants and also to proper academies which had a very structured approach and fixed schedules but I didn’t feel any connection. Then I came across Rahul from mbadream.in. The best part was with our first conversation I somehow knew that he would be the right choice. He didn’t make any fake promises/guarantees and told me that he will also work hard with me for my admission and also provided me contacts of his ex-students to clear my doubts and to get reviews about him and was also not pushing around like other consultants do before you hire them.
A great part of working with Rahul was that he was available all the time and was just a text/call away and could clear all the doubts, I came across. He really helped me drafting my essays and then again refining them. I couldn’t have imagined writing them all by myself with all ends covered and still within word limit. He also helped me prepare for the interview and I also had a mock interview with him. Another great part is that he is very or I would say most economical compared to other consultants and still so effective! I applied to ISB only this year working with him and got the admit.
So it was a great experience working with him.

MBA dream based on my experience.

I have gone ahead with MBA Dream for my MBA school selection, application and interview process after going through the reviews and personal feedback from their students. Rahul is very focussed, efficient and result oriented from the start. He not only delivers what is promised in the package but goes beyond that in understanding the students issues and helping them if needed. In my case, I planned on applying for only US colleges at the start with Rahul, but just 2 days before the deadline for ISB, I told him that my preference changed and wanted to apply to ISB. Rahul did not need to support this as per the policy, but he supported the quick turn around and I could not only submit just an application but got through ISB in first attempt in R1. This situation clearly proves that he is student oriented and goes out of his way to make things happen. Even now during this crisis, he is constantly enquiring and supporting me through this scenario and helping me make proper decisions..I consider him as one of my mentors throughout my career. I wish him the very best in all future endeavours!

Rahul from MBADream

I was exploring professional consultants online immediately after my GRE and had talked to a few. During this process, fortuitously I also talked to one of my seniors on whether I should work with a consultant or not. And that is how I found out about Rahul. Right from the very first conversation I found Rahul to be a very motivating person. I had had my doubts on whether GRE was the right exam to apply for an MBA and whether I should write GMAT instead. Rahul reassured me that the GRE was the right exam and I had scored well enough to receive an admit along with a very generous scholarship from many schools. I had been very wayward in terms of school selection also, to which Rahul came to the rescue and made me apply in schools that I had a fair chance of getting what I was looking for. Once I had started with the process he made me brainstorm myself for framing a story on which I could write good application essays. Rahul had very wisely made me apply in schools that he considered will offer me a decent scholarship along with other benefits such as STEM designation. After getting an interview call in some of them Rahul also held mock interviews and made me feel ready for the interviews. Rahul is a very frank, very intelligent and dedicated guide. His readiness to talk to me and guide me any time of the day was very comforting. Rice was one of the first schools I applied at and it was largely due to the invaluable guidance that Rahul offered me that I finally received an admit from Rice MBA and that too with a very good amount of scholarship. I strongly recommend Rahul to anyone who is either planning on applying for an MBA program at world’s best B Schools.

Rahul from MBADream.
when I reached to Rahul for professional help with my MBA application, I was able to feel the amount of experience he carries in helping applicants in my first interactions itself. He was able to understand my expectations really quick and was able to put my thoughts together on the right track. He helped me with wonderful essays which captured the essence of the matter in a crisp manner. Despite of having some personal issues, Rahul worked with me to create concise application within the application deadline. I was able to secure admission in 3 of the 4 schools I worked with Rahul.

Moreover MBADream is the most affordable and experienced application consultancy I know off.

Rahul from mbadream has a great understanding of what top business schools look for in a candidate. He made me realise what my strengths and weaknesses are and helped me understand post MBA goals in greater clarity. He understood my story and made me understand what in my profile, makes for a good MBA admissions story. He was always available to help edit an essay or take a call about a possible strategic direction. I think Rahul’s biggest USP is that he is easy to communicate with and he was more like a mentor and friend to me during the entire process. I ended up getting the school I wanted and will highly recommend him to anyone looking for support and guidance for MBA applications.

I would highly recommend Arvind Sir from Dream School Admit.

I came across Arvind Sir while browsing through GMAT club forums. What made him stand out was that he was keen on listening and understanding my story. Also, a lot of the other consultants that I talked to felt a little money-minded with their pricing policies having fixed number of essay revisions and extra costs for any additional revisions or phone calls required (especially near the deadlines), not the case with Dream School Admit.

Throughout the process, Arvind Sir has been a great mentor giving exceptional advice on how to approach essays for each college and then revising them, sometimes reaching 5-6 versions. The results speak for themselves as I got interview invites from 6 of the 7 universities that I applied to.

I was quite nervous when it came to interview preparation but Arvind Sir eased my anxiety and came up with plans on how to prepare for the interviews of each college. We held multiple mock interviews which allowed me to approach the interviews with confidence. I was able to secure admits from 4 schools (all with scholarships), including my dream school - UCLA Anderson (50k Scholarship).

I cannot thank Arvind Sir enough for his contribution and help. If you are looking for someone who will patiently listen to your story, take time to help you draft the best applications and then make sure you are thoroughly prepared for your interviews, I would strongly advise you to go with Arvind Sir.

I HIGHLY recommend you Dream School Admit if you are a fan of 'NO BS'! https://dreamschooladmit.com/
Allow me to walk you through my admission journey. When I first started talking to MBA consultants, I ended up being more and more confused with every call I had with them. Some told me that a GRE score won't work for an MBA application while some suggested colleges that I hadn't even heard of. But above all, none of the consultants seemed confident in what they were doing, weren't motivated enough and it was always very difficult to schedule a call with them.

I was recommended Arvind by three of my colleagues who were successful in securing admits from colleges like ISB, Alliance Manchester, Melbourne University, etc.
Every interaction I had with Arvind was crisp, to the point and without BS. He helped me get a clearer understanding of what my strong suits were and where I had to improve myself. He was very clear about what he expected from me and how he would catalyze the process, this made the entire process very smooth and efficient.
I was worried about the kind of profile I had created for myself - 2 job switches in merely 1.5 years. Arvind helped me justify my career switches efficiently and helped me use them in my favor. He analyzed my profile really well and helped me curate the best applications.

Scholarships: One incident that I especially want to highlight is about the time when I had to finish my scholarship essays in a mere duration of 9 hours! I remember calling up Arvind and telling him about the same. He assured me that we would make the deadline and asked me to have a go at it. But by the time I gave him my draft of the essays, he only had around 4 hours left to edit them. Not only did he correct what I had written, he made sure that all the points I had to put forth were said in the best possible way. He even went on to add significant examples that helped me secure a scholarship from Forte Foundation. His dedication and professionalism is much appreciated.

Mock Interviews: The mocks that I had with Arvind helped me feel more confident about my candidacy and also gave me a good taste of the kind of language I should be developing to succeed post MBA. He made sure to explain to me why a particular question was being asked to me, this made me understand what the interviewer expected from me; which in turn helped me explain my answers in a much better way. Arvind spent a significant amount of time training me and helping me get my interview anxiety in control. Arvind has a warm personality that makes people comfortable and gives them a morale boost.

I will recommend Arvind to all the applicants who want their application experience to be efficient, motivating, and rewarding. Trust me, after a call with him, you will definitely end up feeling more confident about your profile!

I contacted Arvind from Dream School Admit in early 2020 to understand more about the MBA application process and evaluate my profile. I was moved by his will to listen to me carefully, and at the end of the conversation, I was confident that I could submit a compelling application. He understood my goals and aspirations and helped in selecting the right schools for me.
After a few rounds of brainstorming, I presented a story coherently and compellingly. From listening to all my worries, crafting the essays and CV, and reassuring my confidence, Arvind was there to help me throughout the process. Once I received the interview call, he helped me craft the right answer and the nuances by conducting 3-4 mock interviews. All the efforts paid off when I received the admit from two business schools with full scholarships..
I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of applying for B Schools to connect with Arvind from Dream School to submit the best possible application and realize your dreams.

The MBA application process is quite intimidating and it really helps to have focused guidance all along the way. I had a great experience working with Arvind from Dream School Admit and I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking to put their best foot forward in MBA applications.

When I initially reached out to Arvind from Dream School Admit, I was about 2 months away from the Round 1 MBA deadlines and was quite confused about how to tackle this massive MBA application task. However, Arvind was really patient and supported me at every step of the process while also instilling much more confidence in me and pushing me to do things I might not have done on my own. He encouraged me to retake the GMAT and my score climbed from 710 to 740, he also pushed me to be ambitious in deciding on colleges and I secured admission offers from two really great colleges - UVA Darden (with scholarship) and NYU Stern. I am really glad that I reached out to Arvind - he did a phenomenal job in preparing me and really getting me my “Dream School Admit”s. I appreciate Arvind’s help and efforts throughout the journey, especially the dependability, turnaround time, honesty, and ability to understand my profile and goals.

Hope this information helps and good luck with your applications!

Regards,
Khushali

For me personally, it is Dream School Admit.

I started my MBA preparation last year not knowing what to do after GMAT. A friend suggested Arvind from Dream School Admit to me and I had a great profile evaluation call with him. Arvind pointed out the strengths in my profile and made me more confident. There on, my experience with him has been fantastic.

After getting an average GMAT score, I was unsure of the schools to apply to. He suggested that I apply to a few competitive schools such as the IE Business School, as it looks at the overall profile and not just the GMAT score. He helped me structure and draft the application essay and was available whenever I needed any help with the process. I would say that the essay was one of the strongest points of my application and it also helped me organise my thoughts and answers for the video assessment and interview. He even instilled confidence in me before attempting the Kira video assessment. I was skeptical about my application until I received the interview invite. Though I couldn't do a mock interview with him before my actual interview due to a family emergency, I had a small discussion with him on how to start the conversation, etc. My interactions with him gave me a clear idea of what the admission committee expects from me.

I am super thankful to Arvind for helping me secure admits to 4 reputed B-Schools in Europe including the IE Business School. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly and professional MBA consultant.

Applied in Fall 2020 cycle
Admits: Stern ($60k Alumni Scholarship), Ross ($20k Scholarship), Yale (20k Dean’s Scholarship), Kellogg

i found out about Dream School Admit and Arvind whilst browsing through GMAT club forums. I requested a free profile evaluation and Arvind called me back within 3 hours. It would be easy for me to write about the generic strengths of working with him but there are a few standout observations from my experience

Firstly, Arvind is the most positive person I have met. Whilst applying for your MBA one learns that it’s a confidence game and it’s easy to lose confidence in your profile and your achievements when you see how long the odds are for the top universities. Multiple other counsellors had dismissed my profile but Arvind took the time to hear me out and believe in my story. He had the risk appetite to believe in me, even when I didn’t and it reflects in our college choices and our eventual success.

Secondly, the interview preparation is extremely thorough and effective. I had 4 interviews and converted all 4 interviews into admits. It was a lot more than just learning to speak, we created a strategy which was tailored specifically for every university.

Finally, Arvind is an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful mentor. Even beyond the specific aspects of the application, he advised me on career decisions for almost a year prior to the actual application. His approach to working on applications is methodical and structured. Despite the many anxiety induced conversations and LoR discussions, he provided clear and concise direction. I learned how to prepare an application on a fundamental level, and have used this experience in many other scenarios

I would whole heartedly recommend working with Dream School Admit and guarantee the experience will leave you with a lot more than just an admit.

Rahul From MBA Dream

I came to know about MBA dream through my friend who had secured a position in Carnegie Mellon after working with Rahul. She recommended me MBA dreams and it was one of my best decision.

Rahul will work with you on a personal level. He is just a call/text away. He will help you right from selecting colleges to sharing the best story for MBA essays to interviews. He will work on your stories, resume and interview preparations. He has helped me secure MBA Admissions in 7 colleges with full scholarships in 2 colleges. I am now recommending this consultancy to every friend of mine who is serious about MBA.

Sharing my personal experience working with Rahul from MBA dreams.

When I started researching the business school admission process, I got overwhelmed and quickly realized that I will be on a lonely and tiresome road without the guidance of an expert. This is when I came across Rahul who comes highly recommended by GMATclub. I did my background checks and approached him with a little bit of skepticism because until then all my conversations with other potential consultants haven't been so great. After my very first conversation with Rahul, I immediately decided that I am going to go with this guy. His passion and energy were infectious and I went with my gut feeling. I didn't regret this decision even once since then.

As the process progressed, I realized that the role of an admissions consultant has an overlap with that of a therapist, and I feel Rahul would definitely make one heck of a therapist too. Rahul has been a pillar of strength to me in this journey and has continuously supported me in the process. Another thing that you would want in your admissions consultant is that he/she should have your best interests during the entire process and this was the case with Rahul. He always suggested the best possible solution from my perspective even though this 'solution' would have demanded extra man-hours from his side. He is ready to take your calls late in the night and would never make you feel guilty for calling at those hours. He is passionate about helping people to build their dream careers and to get into the business schools of their choice and he is always there for you to give you that extra nudge when you are feeling down.

I would highly recommend his services to whoever is looking for guidance with the business school application process.

I would like to share my personal experience with Rahul from MBA Dream

I actually started the application process much lately...I had hardly a month's time to start up with my essays. And, I particularly wanted to apply for a varied and wide range of schools in the R1 itself. So, I couldn't empty my pockets for just 3-4 applications. So, I was looking for an affordable MBA consultant with an open mind to help me apply for various schools.

It was then, I checked out https://www.mbadream.in/ and was surprised by their pricing. And, accidentally I connected with some students at ISB, Tepper, and Rice and got to know that they took Rahul's help through their applications, which in turn gave me that credibility check.

So, eventually, I spoke up with Rahul, understood the strengths and weaknesses of my story. Things went really quick and within a short span, I was able to finish up my essays and successfully applied for all of the schools I have listed out. Rahul was always a call away, gave open feedback, and worked with me through the tighter deadlines. On top of that, he always helped me to boost up my spirits and supported me to have a positive mindset through the entire process as well.

Glad to mention that, I got through my target schools with a decent scholarship and would definitely recommend Rahul to any of the MBA aspirants.

Feel free to PM me if you would like to know any specific details. Happy to provide my insights.

I wish you all the best through your application journey!

Hi, My name is Ashish Khanna. I understand the pain and struggle of going through finding the right MBA admissions consultant who can help you sail through the turbulence of the b-school applications. I went through the same struggle while applying for B-schools in 2019. The struggle is then added with exorbitant prices and charges that the different MBA admissions consulting services cost the applicant.

I eventually understood it is not worth the money and effort to hire an MBA consultant. I ended up applying to b-schools and writing my own applications. To build some credibility here- I applied to IESE, INSEAD, LBS, Cambridge, and Oxford with a GMAT score of 690 and got an interview call from all the colleges and ended up doing my MBA from Cambridge (which was worth every penny). With a sub-standard GMAT score, every one in the MBA consulting space asked me to write the exam again and mentioned that my chances of even getting an interview call are very slim but I knew GMAT score is just one part of the application and I packed a good application all together and I applied anyways and the rest is history.

Now, I am writing this message for people who are looking for help in their MBA application journey and who don't want to splash a lot of money. I believe if I was able to do write my MBA application and get calls for A-list b-school, then I can help others too. One of the key aspects while choosing a consultant is compatibility with the admission's consultant and if interested to know more, no need of an email or filling a form, just WA me on +919742696849 and we can take it from there :)

When I started my MBA application journey, I was already late to the party. Most of my friends had either submitted their applications or were already working with an admission consultant. I started reaching out to all the admission consultants in the industry, only to realize that they were either supremely overpriced or not accommodating last minute entrants like me.

A friend of mine then recommended me to get in touch with Rahul bhai (as I call him) from "mbadream". Based on the initial call itself, I knew I found my mentor who will help me navigate this arduous and daunting journey. He was extremely calm and assured me that I will still be able to meet my deadlines. I felt as if I won half the battle that day itself.

Over the next 2 months, I worked on 7-8 different applications (with overlapping deadlines) but I always had Rahul and the exceptionally talented team at mbadreams to support me throughout the process. Whether it be the brainstorming sessions, or the essay, or the mock interviews, mbadream is a one stop shop for all the needs.

Rahul was ever approachable even during the toughest days of the pandemic and that reflects his commitment to the candidate's success story. One thing that makes Rahul stand out from the other admission consultants is that he is brutally honest. In hindsight, I attribute my success to those harsh yet honest feedback sessions which were instrumental in crafting a convincing story for the applications.

I genuinely wouldn't have made it to the University of Oxford (Saïd Business School) if it weren't for Rahul & mbadream. To sum it up, one can only imagine to get this kind of an industry expertise at this price anywhere else. Put your trust in mbadream and you'll definitely cross the finish line!

I was looking for an admissions consultant with whom I could build a rapport with and one that I could wholly trust in assisting me with the most important decision of my life till date. I am glad to say that my interactions with Rahul have exceeded my expectations!!

In my opinion, while I did not have gaps in my profile, I also did not have major spikes. He helped me identify the areas of what I had done to date, that I could exemplify to the admissions committee in order to create the maximum impact. He also pushed me to apply to schools that I did not think I had a shot at.
A great thing was that I could just give him a call at any point of time, which was quite helpful when I was busy at work. There was also no rubbish of 'limited number of edits' or 'only a specific number of mock interviews'. He helped me weave what I have done into an integrated story.

Rahul supported me throughout the whole process, and added a lot of value to my applications, which I am very grateful for :)

P.S. I can guarantee that you will not get more bang for your buck anywhere else ;)

Coming into the 2021 round 2 application cycle, I realized my profile, while having some solid attributes and a decent GMAT of 710, also had a couple of "weaker" points. Therefore, I wanted to work with a consultant who would help me tell the best story and encourage me to deliver the best applications possible. Aanchal from MBAguide exceeded my expectations and more.
The process of applying to business school is stressful, and as someone, who had not written an essay in years, this part seemed daunting. However, Aanchal helped me strategically edit my essays for length & messaging - helping tailor the messaging in each essay to suit the school's culture.
She helped me brainstorm ideas and recall impactful events for my story, and also had me look at myself from another perspective. Aanchal delivered her impressive storytelling technique while keeping "my voice". She was always super responsive and got back to me within 1-2 days. It always felt like she was your application "partner" and she was as excited about the application as I was. She guided me through everything - including resume building, career narrative development, interview preparation, and everything else in the application process. Her input on which points were more impactful than others was incredibly helpful. I honestly believe that I would not have gotten into my top MBA program without her guidance and support.
Aanchal also helped me stay focused on applying to the schools that made sense given my timelines, profile, and short-term goals. She made me realize how each school's essay is soo different from the other and that each essay needs to have a different narrative. She encouraged me to spend more time on school's websites which made me delve deeper into the school's culture and realize if I was an actual fit. Out of 4 colleges I narrowed down to and applied, I interviewed at 3 and secured an admit from ISB so far. Getting invited from Ross School of Business was an absolute dream for me, and I am so thankful for Aanchal's overall guidance to help project my best self to the admissions committee. She was my ally throughout this emotional rollercoaster. I can't imagine doing having gone through this process with anyone else.
I consider working with her to be one of the best investments that I've ever made. If I had to go through this process again, I would choose Aanchal in the blink of an eye. Thanks to her, I will attend the school of my dreams. I would unequivocally recommend Aanchal from MBAguide to anyone looking for MBA consultant!
